How many sessions do I need?

This depends on a number of factors; what you are dealing with, how committed you are to your treatment, whether you trust your therapist and whether you do your homework! Giving up smoking is usually 1 session (see relevant section), most other conditions need more. Clinical Hypnosis is direct and can therefore work quickly, sometimes amazingly so. In my experience, those who are determined to work on their problem and do not have a set number of sessions in mind, paradoxically progress more quickly.
