About Me
Catherine Chadwick B.A. D.Hyp. BSCH PDCHyp
I trained at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis where I gained my Diploma and
Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis. I am an associate of the British Society
of Clinical Hypnosis.
Long before I trained, I was interested in the workings of the mind, reading books
on psychology and mental training techniques. My first introduction to hypnosis
was the book ''Self Hypnosis and Scientific Self-Suggestion'' by William J. Ousby
and I began using his ideas on myself.
I was also interested in health and the connection between the mind and the body
and so trained in and practised a number of complementary therapies including massage,
reflexology, craniosacral therapy and nutritional medicine. I give short seminars
on nutrition to various health professionals, and am beginning to develop these
for the general public.
My own attitude to life is that there is much to experience and much pleasure to be had.
This is why I do the work I do. Even making small changes can make a difference to your quality of life.
My practice is currently in South-West London. It is easily accessible by bus and train,
and a little less so by tube. There is pay and display street parking during the day.
